Installation Instructions
NOTE: These Pop-Ins only work with Photoshop 6.0 and higher.
|
| 1) |
Insert CD-ROM and then run Photoshop. |
| 2) |
Make sure the Actions palette is visible...if not choose "Show Actions" from the "Window" menu.
|
| 3) |
From the Actions pull-down menu, select "Load Actions" and navigate to your CD-ROM drive. Select the desired Pop-in listed on the CD-ROM drive and click OK.

|
| 4) | You should now see the Pop-in loaded into the Actions palette.
|
| 5) | Expand the Action by clicking on the little arrow next to the Action name.
|
| 6) | Select the first step (Start) and press the play button. This will do two things:
it will create a new blank canvas where your graphic will be constructed and it will prompt you to locate/open the image you want to use for this Pop-in.
|
| 7) | Now that your image has been opened and resized, select the MOVE tool in the Tools Palette and then drag
your image (the one you just opened/resized) over to the blank white canvas and let go. Try and position your image in the center as much as possible.

CORRECT MOVE

With the MOVE tool selected, drag your image out of it's window and into the middle of the blank white canvas
|

Tools Palette |
Note: INCORRECT MOVE

Do NOT drag the entire canvas of your image on top of the blank
white canvas.
If you see the rulers and information title bar from your image,
then you have moved the entire canvas
on top of the blank white canvas. Click and hold in the MIDDLE of
your image
and drag the image OUT of it’s canvas and release it INTO
the blank white canvas
as illustrated in the top example. This will create a copy of your
image inside the blank white canvas
and will make the new canvas the front and active canvas that you
are working with.
Now you’re ready to choose a Pop-Ins action and press Play. |
|
| 8) | Now select the particular Pop-in that you would like to run and hit "Play".
